What is the difference between lawyers?

Lawyers are like doctors.  When you visit a doctor you want to have confidence that your problems are being treated appropriately.  You want a doctor that makes you feel comfortable discussing confidential matters. You want a doctor that you can TRUST. At the Law Office of Frank A. Cusumano, Jr., our clients always come first, whether you are rich and affluent or a "little person" of modest means, your legal rights are of paramount importance to me as a licensed professional. My actions, and reputation in the legal community speak louder than words.

Proved reliability and trustworthiness.

Since 1989, Attorney Cusumano has always taken seriously the law title of "Attorney and Counselor at Law."   Unfortunately, many lawyers (and doctors for that matter) often look out after their own financial interests before those of the client.  If you are looking for an attorney to tell you what you want to hear, and only what you want to hear, then look somewhere else.  I will not "perform a lot of unnecessary surgery" on your file and hand you an outrageous bill.  Likewise, if your case is winnable, and cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, we  will try your case and let the jury decide.
FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION

Why do I give free initial consultations? I will not take a retainer from a client if I believe you case to be not winnable and get you a favorable result.  If you want a candid and honest assessment of your situation, and your legal rights and remedies under the law, I would be pleased to meet with you and confidentially discuss your case free of charge. Likewise, our clients are expected to do their part in providing reliable information.  After our meeting I am confident that you will know that your interests are at the forefront of my potential representation. Our rates are reasonable.

What does "never a sell out" really mean?

Where your criminal rights or civil legal rights are jeopardized, and your defenses or cause of action is legally recognized, your case will receive professional personal attention.  Your adversaries will be held to account for their actions.  I will not, as a matter of profeesional honor, strike some deal because of other files our office has pending or other matters before the Judge.  I will not plead a criminal matter just to get along with a prosecuting attorney or to please the Court staff.  I will try your case if necessary to potect your rights. If an acceptable plea bargain is offered, I will give you honest and candid advice about whether you should accept it, or proceed to trial.

What is "Pro Bono" work and why do you do it?
In our system many so called "little people" cannot afford to hire an attorney, especially in criminal cases.  Many have been put through the mill before, and fear the police and the Courts.  I represent these people free of charge on occassion to "even the playing field."  Although pro bono work is required by the State Bar, many attorneys are too busy to lend a helping hand to a less fortunate member of society.  Of course, every client is treated with courtesy and is guaranteed effective  representation whether they be retained or pro bono.

Our consistent track record of uncompromising ethics instills confidence and trust. We use cutting edge technologies that allow us to respond quickly, and give you the most relevant information and perspectives.

When you hire attorney Cusumano, "You will come out on top."
